Karachi International Book Fair 2015 Part 2

It’s time once again folks to enjoy the amazing book fair I attended 2 weeks ago. Like I said in the previous episode (click here to read about it), it was a great experience and I loved it very much.

The book fair was organized in 3 different halls of Expo Center. There was a constant stream of people in all 3.

Jumbo sale attracted moms mostly. Dads paced after a while.

I even saw few old comics like these on Jumbo Sale stall.

Instead of taking cash with me, I went the book fair with my debit card but alas, the publishers were only accepting cash. So instead of buying books for myself, I bought these books for Uzair from Jumbo Sale.

This stall offered great books at super discount price of Rs 150/- but since I was low on cash, so didn’t bought any from there.

This book fair was great and I wondered why I missed the previous ones. I have decided to attend this annual event regularly now as it will not only fuel up my brain but makes me relax too.

Thanks for visiting!

I have been to many book fairs, but I think this is the biggest I have ever seen. It is always great to see children reading and loving books! I noticed that many books are in English – is English widely spoken in Karachi? Your posts are quite interesting because I know very little about your part of the world.
Thanks for stopping by my blog and liking the cow on the wall. If you look at some of my other Odd Ball photos, you can see other funny things in Mexico.

Well, this book fair wasn’t the biggest in Karachi but it did gathered many. Yes many books were available in English there, along with local languages collection. Thank you for like my posts and of course I’ll check your oddball collection
