My 400

This is my post #400, so here are some fun facts related to 400, courtesy of Wikipedia:

400

400 is the square of 20.
(wake up people! this is maths)

A circle is divided into 400 grads.
(slice a perfect circular pie next time in 400 pieces)

400 is a self number in base 10, because there is no integer that added to the sum of its own digits results in 400.
(give me some time to compute that)

400 is divisible by the sum of its own base 10 digits.
(yup, still need more time here)

The Four Hundred (also known as The Four Hundred Club) is a phrase meaning the richest, most famous, or most powerful social group, leading to the generation of such lists as the Forbes 400.
(but this post of mine doesn’t make me eligible for it)

400 is name of a Lebanese card game.
(you don’t need to go to Lebanon to play it unless you are a billionaire)

The 400 is a Chicago and North Western Railway passenger train that traveled 400 miles between Minneapolis/St. Paul and Chicago, Illinois in 400 minutes.
(another strange fact related to this: my Uncle lives in Chicago)

400 was the yard number of the Olympic, Titanic’s sister ship.
(oh boy!)

The Sun is approximately 400 times the size of the Moon and is also approximately 400 times further away, thus creating the temporary illusion, for us all to see, in which the Sun and Moon in Earth’s sky appear as if of similar size.
(now this is something really amazing about 400, isn’t it?)

400 is an HTTP status code for a bad client request.
(remember those error messages when a webpage fails to open? They start from 400 and go all the way to 451)

Oh dear, I’m no good at maths either 😉 Always thought a circle could be devided in 360 grads. I’m too amazed about that Sun-Moon-Earth fact!
