My #BeautifulPakistan

Today 23rd March is celebrated as Pakistan Day in Pakistan. It is a national holiday as we commemorate the passing of Lahore Resolution, an event which took place on March 23, 1940. This resolution was passed in favor of creating a group of independent states for Muslims in north-western and eastern zones within British India.

During that time, the world was at war as stage of WWII was getting fiercer each passing day. Whole world was like a big battleground, unlike anything anyone has ever seen.

During that time, Muslims across British India raised their voices and efforts on every ground for the demand of a separate state. Lahore resolution paved a way for this goal and thus, Pakistan appeared on world map on August 14, 1947.

To mark this day, I’m presenting here the tweets of #BeautifulPakistan from my fellow countrymen (and of course countrywomen). These tweets were sent from different areas of Pakistan and they truly show you the beauty my country holds.

Enjoy!
