I Will Not Let You Go

These days, Uzair is asking me one question more than anything else. And yes, like all other 3-year old kids out there, he just love to ask questions about almost everything his eyes look upon. Those questions normally starts with a why or where or when and after answering one, he creates a new question from the last answer. And this is something all kids do, right?

Most of the times, those questions don’t even make sense to me but for a 3-year old mind, that is a question and it should be answered. ASAP that is!

But as I said, one particular question is on top of the list these days:

Will you go to office tomorrow?

He fires this question at me whenever he likes and upon my reply of yes, he usually begs me not to. This bring a smile upon my face and I say to him I can’t. But deep down inside, I so dearly wish for it. This reply of mine is not okay for Uzair and he again begs to me for staying and playing with him at home tomorrow.

Because of his summer vacation, he is assuming whole world is playing and resting. There are no worries in the world except for finding new ways to play more and more.

This summer vacation was Uzair’s first and they are about to end as from next week, his school will reopen.

Anyway, Uzair asked me that same question last night before he going to bed. Upon hearing my normal yes, his reply was a big surprise for me:

I will get up early in morning and will not let you go to office.

This is exactly what he said and I was unable to control my laugh. Uzair too laughed out after saying this. I then kissed him up and he fall asleep.

He didn’t woke up like he said he would when I left home this morning. But I didn’t forgot to kiss him up again and reminding myself how much lucky I’m for being blessed by a son like Uzair.

So cute ♡. The first question every day my son asks is ‘aaj Saturday hai kya? ‘ he is worried to go to school more than me going to office !

Uzair’s version is bit different: aap ki chutti Saturday ko hoti hai?
Seems to me he is more concerned about my leave than his 😀
