For me, local is all about having a great family time. And a great family time can’t be complete without some tasty meal on the table.
If you are inviting a large number of people in your home for dinner, you need something big!
This is my kitchen and that giant pot can cook up to 10kg of Daleem
This is where Haleem (also known as Daleem) comes in very handy. A local stew mixture of various lentils along with meat, wheat, rice and all sorts of spices. It was prepared few weeks ago in my home and everyone loved it.
So much Daleem!!
But sadly, no barbecue party took place in my home this year. Last year, 3 barbecue parties were more than what we asked for.
Yeah, I’m missing the grill and the meat!
But it is okay to enjoy some other meat dishes on the table when guests are few.
Fried beef chops, Kebabs, Meatballs gravy with potato and Fries

Recipes, yes of course. I do share recipes on my blog often but haven’t done so for quite sometime.
Thanks for the reminder 🙂
