Frame by frame, Pakistan’s first-ever hand drawn animated film is shaping into a something extraordinary. But there is no glory without pain and Usman Riaz,
creator of The Glassworker, knows it very well.
I found out about Usman Riaz and his passion for hand animation yesterday when I read an article about him in DAWN. I felt very much amazed by the work he and his team, Mano Animation Studios, are doing to create Pakistan’s first-ever hand drawn animated film, The Glassworker.
The Glassworker is about a boy, who is learning the art of glassblowing from his father. He develops a friendship with a young girl, who happens to be a violinist.
