A Photo A Week Challenge – Yellow

A traditional Pakistani wedding consists of 3 ceremonies:

  1. Mehndi
  2. Wedding
  3. Valima

Now since we are talking about wedding, so it is incomplete without colors. So each ceremony is dominated by a particular color. It mostly depends on bride or groom which color they want for their special day but in most cases, color yellow is the only common color chosen up for Mehndi ceremony.

Why?

Because of its vibrant feeling. Yellow immediately attracts your attention and you can’t resist yourself from it.

Well, back to the wedding.

My only sister got married back in 2014 and since she is youngest one, her wedding was a real special occasion for the entire family. We didn’t hired any professional photographer for any of the event as I decided to capture the snaps myself.

And this is my favorite one from the entire collection:

Wearing bright yellow colored dresses, my sister (2nd from right) is surrounded by her cousins, who acted as her bridesmaid during the whole event.

    Ahh pakistani weddings, they are so fun and a great time for whole family.Congratulations ( I hope I’m not too late ) hahaha. The shot is really nice.

      Never ever witnessed that much tiredness because I never attended such close wedding. Hoping to feel it really soon. You should always admire and praise the beauty and that’s what I did.

      I’m saying so because earlier this week, I attended up 4 different functions of my sister-in-law’s wedding. It was fun but it made everyone at home so tired.
      But fun was the best part of it 🙂
