I borrowed the chill!
That’s because there ain’t no snowfall, no below freezing point in Karachi during the winter season. Sun mostly shines through the day and for us locals, even 10.4°C (50.7°F) is freezing enough.
And if you have to live through piles and piles of snowfall, then this temperature is probably reminding you of springtime. Isn’t it 🙂
This brings me to show you these snaps of Murree covered in snowfall. These were captured by my friend Zia when he went there to enjoy the snowfall in Dec 2015.
For now, I have to rely on these for my chill 🙂

Borrowed chill is better than lived chill any day!

Since I hadn’t experienced snowfall ever, so I’m pretty happy with borrowing the chills. I may experience it some day but I’m not so eager for it.

Nice to see in photos but not so good in the long haul.

I don’t think I could handle your heat and humidity, so am content to live through our winters. The upside: snow and frigid cold kills bugs.
Thanks for joining in with the RDP prompts. Have a great new year.

Yesterday, for the first time in decades probably, temperature went down below 10°C in my city. Everyone froze up for sure.
Thank you for the daily prompts. I’m looking forward to participate more in 2020 🙂

It was warm here though, kind of like middle of spring.

Here in latvia it started to snow again this week and I’m currently sitting on my windowsill, drinking hot chocolate and dreaming of summer days at the seaside… I guess its always about the things you can’t have right now 😉

It was warm today in Karachi and I felt like it is now time to switch to light clothes. Though I will not say no say to hot chocolate 🙂

light clothes are always nice. I’m really looking forward to wearing skirts and dresses again once its no longer -10 degrees…

-10 !!!!!!!!!!
If that would have been the temperature here, entire city would be covered up under blankets

here it’s kinda normal… We’ve got a lot of wind as well so the Daugava actually froze completely (its the big river separating the two parts of Riga) and its amazing. It hasn’t really stoped snowing the whole day and I love it 🙂
A lot of blankets help a lot though.

If you love it, then it is the best season. Plus hot chocolate is the cherry on top 🙂
