Our Reset Button

Of all the mistakes we have made

And the pain endured by us

During our lifetime

Makes me wonder about

A reset button’s importance

Just one little press

And everything goes back

To square one in an instant

Allowing us to undone

Our mistakes and wrongdoings

But there’s no such device

Or hi-tech gadgetry

Through which we can

Wipe out life’s worsts

So, best we can do

Is to weigh our acts

Along with our words

Before allowing them

To cause havoc towards

Those we love and care about
