B&W Photo Challenge – First Far Ahead

So far away but yet so close!

Experiencing something for the very first time is wonderful. Whether tasting out an exotic cuisine of a far away land or see a breath taking view of a gorgeous landscape, the very first meeting with something new remains in our hearts and minds for as long as we live.

Though my list of experiencing-something-new is very close to next to zero, I’m slowly add up entries in it. Case in point my 2017 Dubai trip!

For 5 days in the first week of January 2017, I became the part of the world I had only heard or read about. That trip still echoes in my mind, re-filling up my heart with all the joys and wonders I experienced.

This is the very first light of the world beyond my local world I saw during my flight to Dubai

And viewing tall skyscrapers of Downtown Dubai, including the world’s tallest Burj Khalifa, from my hotel balcony was an out-of-this-world moment for me.

This is a very late entry by me forΒ Cee Neuner’s Black & White Photo Challenge: In the Distance
