Lens-Artists Challenge – Narrowly Broad

A picture with 2 opposite meanings!

So, today I’m sharing yet another creative work of my son Uzair, a 1st grade kid who loves to play with his LEGO set.

Among all the objects he loves to create with tiny bricks of LEGO, I can surely say that creating a bridge is his favorite.

Utilizing the whole set, he creates bridges with multiple pillars and of various shapes all by his own.

Upon looking at the creative work of my son like this, I wonder about how much narrow structures like these actually are.

But the broad imagination used by Uzair to create something like this in early stages of his life is certainly something I feel very much proud about.

For Amy’s Lens-Artists Photo Challenge #84: Narrow. Also sharing with SueW’s Wednesday Challenge Broad

Oh wow, HR, I’m impressed of how the STAIRS are built. Your son must be good in building things.

He learned and made this all by himself, in my absence as he like to make these without any supervision 🙂

Our daughters enjoy Duplos and Legos (and so did we!) I like his bridge, although I wouldn’t want to walk across it. Tell him good job.

Yeah, I told him the same and he gave me a big smile in reply. I will convey your comment to him, Janet 🙂

That is a very special selection, HR. He is only 1st grade, very cool!

And guess what, he made up another one in the evening today and didn’t allowed his mother to break it up until I return home from work. The excitement on his face when he showed me his latest work certainly made my day 🙂

Their imaginations are certainly a reminder to us about what we used to imagine about, when we were young 🙂

What a fun choice for the challenge Hammad! Perhaps an architectural or structural engineer in the making!

I also wonder the same, Tina. There are couple of construction vehicle toys in his collection, so I think I should give him the idea about playing with both at the same time.
