Mighty we may consider ourselves but are we really?
I saw this guy in Uzair’s school one day, gazing over a big world map on the wall.
He didn’t noticed my presence as I took out my smartphone and captured the snap of his wonderment.
As I walked ahead, after capturing this snap, I started to wonder about that guy.
What was going in his mind as he was looking at the map. The places he had seen or yet to be seen. How small does the world look on a map while in reality it is so freaking big.
The scale of humanity’s influence over the world we call home is certainly gigantic. Filled with ups and downs of what was done in past by those whose names we know and even by those who faded away in a snap, after playing their part.
Scattered over different places and thousands of miles apart, somehow we play a big role in each other’s lives.
And right now, this role of ours needs more collective effort from all of us to fight an enemy.
An enemy by the name of Coronavirus is certainly of micron level size on any measurable scale but it is so powerful right now that it is currently the main reason behind a global pandemic.
A tiny, unseen by human eye organism has certainly turned up the whole world upside the down.

I’m thinking about the size of him compared to the small child. But that map is huge!!!
