The very perspective of life and the true meaning of it may unfold for us, all thanks to a tiny humane virus!
Going through a phenomenal event of our lifetime, we all are now. We don’t know when it will end and we certainly want it to be over as soon as possible.
But one thing is for sure: it will definitely shake up the whole meaning of what we consider of our own selves.
What we are capable of and what we should be the utmost importance to us in the first place, to keep the wheel of life in motion on the only livable planet in the solar system.
As the known world is under a lock down, forced by the authorities or self initiated, I’m having another lock at the other lifeforms on this planet.
Don’t get me wrong, please!
I’m as scared and uncertain about what is happening in our world right now as you are.
But as I’m sitting inside my home, with my family, looking news on TV or reading minute-by-minute update on the current situation of my country Pakistan and rest of the world, I’m unable to shake off the feeling about how other lifeforms are thriving in this time.
They do not require our assistance in order to thrive.
Their lives and nature are bound to certain set of rules, which they are following ever since they came into being.
Which was meant to be the way for us humans also but down the road, we diverted from the very track of our own nature.
This very world wasn’t created by us, so we certainly had no right to destroy it as well.
The course we had taken in the name of technological advancement in order to thrive over this planet, may have backfired to us.
This might be the very reason behind this current situation the entire planet is facing now.
I want it to end now, just like you are!
The world certainly has changed recently, alon with our reality. A week ago, everyone was happy go lucky, now we’re stuck in our homes wondering what’s next. There is a silver lining here that needs to be examined. Children are home from school for weeks at a time, parents are home teaching their children as best they can. This time of quarantine is showing us what we’re missing in life: family connections, faith, unity and love. These are the really important things in life, everything else is superficial like sports, entertainment, work, etc. When it comes down to it, family is the most important thing we have.

You have made such a great point, Kelly. The reality of everything we know and care about is shaken down to its roots, around the world.
