One Word Sunday – Reign Of Rain

Heat is going on now!

It’s just mid of April and temperature is already touching the 38ºC mark on the scale in my city these days.

And so, I’m recalling the days of last year’s monsoon week when Karachi received heavy amount of showers almost everyday and it turned the hot weather into something very pleasant for the sweating citizens.

It was truly reigning of the rain!

I tried to capture the droplets in my best capacity because in order to keep my smartphone safe from getting damage by rain water, I had to rely over the zooming-in feature of the camera app.

Plus, that parking shed was the perfect place to capture those drops, so I took multiple snaps of the same frame.

Here’s another snap of the same view from a safe distance:

Thank you so much, Debbie. I was browsing over at my photo archive and word reign flashed in my mind when I remembered about last year’s monsoon season. Picked these snaps for this wonderful prompt of yours 🙂
