One Word Sunday – Distant Lights

Faraway but brightening the night!

As much as I love to capture the view of my city Karachi from my rooftop during the day, I also like to spend sometimes up there during the night.

Mainly because I can see the stars up in the sky and lights of the faraway homes and buildings at the same time.

And some times, late at night, I can also hear the sounds from some faraway musical event as they reach out to me through summer breeze.

Which makes the nights on my rooftop much more special πŸ™‚

Rooftops are the best…for contemplating over coffee…

Night on the rooftop must be lovely, Hammad. I think my favorite shots of cities are usually at night.

Especially summer nights of a city with a lengthy coastline. The oceanic breeze during those nights cools away the summer heat in amazing manner.

      Exactly right you are, V.J.
The rooftop at my home offers the peace and calmness to me. I love to spend few minutes alone over there, especially during the summer nights.
