If We Could Have Met, Like For Real

Wouldn’t that be Something!

Imagine, even for just few moments, about seeing each other face to face for the first time in real life.

The person you know through your WordPress blog is standing right in front of you.

How incredibly surprising that would be!

We may first pinch ourselves to assure this is happening for real 🙂

Then saying Hi! with our most widest smile, followed by a hug, if permissible.

And assuring each other that this is happening for real, while that constant question of “is this real” would be bouncing back and forth somewhere inside our head.

Then we may sit down, still smiling brightly, and start off the conversation by asking how are we doing or how’s the family and much more.

We would be talking for real, in front of each other, which is totally different from commenting on a post and receiving replies on it.

Sounds so unbelievable, isn’t it?

And if you had arrived for real in my city of Karachi, I would be more than honored to welcome you as your host 🙂

I would love to invite you at my home for an evening tea.

But these days, the weather is unbearably hot in my city, so instead of tea, I would serve ice-chilled Lassi or Sugarcane juice.

Lassi
Sugarcane Juice

Alongside these chilling beverages, I would also serve a variety of local treats for you:

These mouth-watering delights not only tickles the taste buds but also acts as an appetizer/main course for a great conversation.

And since these delights are quite spicy for you, I’m sure you won’t mind about having another glass of Lassi or Sugarcane juice 🙂

So, while munching these delights, what we will talk about?

Honestly, I don’t know but what I do know is the fact that we will certainly cherish the wonderful moments of our little real life meet. 🙂

Many thanks to V.J. Knutson’s WEEKLY CHALLENGE: READ ON… for invoking a fantasy in my head for today 🙂

    Wow wow……mouth watering.

Let me thank you wholeheartedly for offering these yummy starters.

Will you believe me..if I say my offering to my lovely guests from WP is no different from that of yours?

    What a delight!

Ganne ka Ras,Channa chat, dahi vada, pakora, samosa, GOL gappay……my God….
    Can’t wait any more.

    Taking next flight to Karachi.
And there is so much to talk as we munch pakora and samosa.

Just wondering…suppose all of us descend on you on the same day……what you will do?

Just let me know in advance about your flight schedule 😀

And you know very well that these treats are just a tiny part of the massive cuisine our subcontinent has to offer.

Plus, I didn’t mentioned Biryani in my post, so no one will leave without tasting it as well 😀

In case everyone lands on the same day, I would have to book a big venue I guess 🙂

I am there Hammad. I love Lassi especially mango lassi. The selection of eats are some of my favourites to cook as well as eat.
Yes a good old blog-up with so many people from around the world would be wonderful. I hope your house is big enough for us all 😀

      Oh wow!
Lassi is great for summer and I love it very much. But sometimes, I prefer freshly squeezed chilled Sugarcane juice over Lassi.
My home is big enough to host 35-40 persons at time, considering the fact that my mother’s siblings and their families can all tuck in easily for a nice big family dinner 🙂

      Very much indeed!
I would love to know more about your travels since I haven’t traveled much. I may also arrange a trip outside the town, into the fields of my countryside, if you plan to stay for a few more days 🙂

I bet you’d be a wonderful host, and we’d talk of the skies, and from there the conversation would grow!
