I have never climbed a tree!
This is the truth.
I haven’t tried to because I never felt the urge.
And I don’t recall about any person in my group of school friends or in my street who could monkeying around the trees like they were born on it.
Since they weren’t much interested in Tarzan-ing around the school or neighborhood trees, I also kept myself on the ground.
And now, as I’m in my early 40’s, this is certainly out of the book for me.
My brother and I used to climb trees and jump out with sheets tied to our shoulders. We were 9 or 10. When my children were stuck up a tree I had to climb up to rescue them. The last time I climbed up a tree I was 64,three years ago. For a vanity pix.

Wow!
Amazing how you could still be able to climb the trees when you were 64.

I didn’t climb trees but my mom made us a tree house in the backyard when we were growing up and that was a lot of fun.

Sadly there’s no tree house making activity in my town. Uzair has seen them on TV and he regularly asks me about building a one for him, which isn’t possible.

You are still young enough to climb a tree – I am old than you and have been known to climb them with my godchildren, and am sure my granddaughter in a few years will have me climbing. You just need to choose your trees more carefully as you get older!!

Thank you very much for the inspiration, Becky 🙂
Will chose the right tree for myself and my son, so that we could climb it together.

The only time I climbed a tree, I fell out and sprained my ankle. It was a big deal when I was growing up.

Getting hurt in the very first try always stays in the mind, despite the wound healing.
