Squaring Trees – From Old To New

A new beginning, just beneath the old!

I saw this old fella in 2016 on a roadside while I was on my way home from my office.

That old tree is long gone now but those little ones beneath those empty branches are now all grown up.

I better capture a new photo of those grown ones for comparison.

Too bad I didn’t got the chance to capture the young ones again at the same spot 😦

I love the twisty trunk and branches. In the Midwest, the trunks of most trees are rather straight but here in Arizona, we have many twisty trees.

Palm and papaya trees are the common straight ones here in my town. Rest can be as twisty as they want to be 🙂

Yes, I like to see the progress of trees – the Pine tree in our backyard has progressed right across the lawn and up our sewer.

The two palm trees and a coconut tree in the front yard of my neighbor has grown up with me. Thought they are older than me 🙂
