Hey little birdie
Just fly away
From the lands
You don’t know
As your cries
Are falling into
Nothing but deaf ears
Why wasting time
When you are not welcome
Leave the land of strangers
And break up all the chains
To fly away to the ones
Who will call you dear
Towards the fields
Which you know by heart
You’ve lived a life
Spent dreamy nights
So, go where dreams
Don’t just stay dreams
Time is still in your wings
Fly away little birdie
As far away as you can
From where your dreams
Can’t see a day’s light
brilliant poetry Hammad! ❤

Thank you very much for liking this, Tina.
I should be thankful to those few noisy ravens I saw earlier today, as their constant cawing inspired this 🙂

I feel like there is so much in this poem – commentary on the state of things.

Very much indeed, VJ.
Most of the most, we all feel like this little birdie and the voice within us tells us to just break free.
