Weekend Sky #71 – Aug 20th

It’s just the start of a day!

To catch new beginnings and wonders.

But it is always a good thing to expect the unexpected, especially in today’s world.

After an unplanned hiatus of past two weekends, the Weekend Sky is back!

This episode was meant to go live on August 6th but unforeseen happenings reigned over the planned activities.

Don’t worry, I was fine. Just got tangled in some family related matters, which took their due course.

Then, last weekend, August 13th was the perfect day to post this episode since that weekend marked the 75th anniversary of Pakistan’s Independence. Had I been punctual, the 75th episode of Weekend Sky would have coincided nicely last weekend with a joyous occasion.

But once again, I was all caught up.

Anyway, here we are finally!

The photo above is from my archive since sky in my town is covered with monsoon clouds, though no rainfall had occurred in the last 4 days.

But the outskirts of Karachi and neighboring cities received heavy showers, which lasted for more than 5 hours in some areas, generating flash floods and damaged properties.

So, let’s round up the entries from episode #70, which were shared more than two weeks ago by the fellow bloggers.

Yeah, I’m that much late on this!

Follow the steps below to join this challenge:

  1. Create a Weekend Sky post on your blog.
  2. Add the title of your post as Weekend Sky #(episode number) or you can use your own title, if you prefer it.

I’m looking forward to see nature’s most majestic wonder from your part of world.

Wishing you a lovely weekend!

Lovely shot, Hammad, and belated congratulations on Independence Day. We’re having monsoon season here in Arizona too but our monsoons are nothing like yours. If they were, we’d all be washed away. 🙂

Images of washed away locals from countryside areas are on the news now. This monsoon certainly wrecked havoc in those parts.

      Oh!
Somehow, your comment didn’t showed up in the Comments section, which is strange.
