The My series continues….
And quite interestingly, it is for the weekly Lens-Artists Photo Challenge only.
Well, this week’s prompt is Last Chance by Tina Schell and she is inviting us to share those images that we have captured in 2022 but aren’t fit for any particular theme or category.
Despite sharing photographic posts on my blog on daily basis, I would like to inform you that I didn’t captured as much new pictures in 2022 as I did back in 2021 or 2020.
One main reason could be resuming my office and getting loaded up with new tasks and assignments, on almost weekly basis.
But I availed the chance whenever I could because it is hard for me to look away from something photo worthy and not taking out my smartphone to capture it.
That being said, here are some of my clicks from 2022, which certainly deserve their chance to shine:
A view towards the sky from my rooftop on a January morning. The clear blue sky is my weakness and it is hard for me to stop myself from gazing over it.
In February, Uzair and I enjoyed a ride on a newly inaugurated Greenline Bus, which was an amazing experience for us. Especially, when a metropolis city like Karachi receives his very first rapid public transport system.
What you see here is a plate of Samosa Chaat, the mouth-watering chaat made of a base of chana masala (chickpea curry) and samosa (savory fried pastries). Toppings can include whatever you like. Resuming work from my office in 2022 allowed me to savor this scrumptious treat, which certainly a bonus.
The school activities resumed entirely from 2021 and reached new levels in 2022. Uzair enjoyed going to school after two years of online schooling. He got himself enrolled in swimming classes, enjoyed Arts and much more. He painted this bottle in his Art class back in May.
2022 was also the year I spent most of my weekdays in the office, after spending 2020 and 2021 in WFH.
The monsoon season of 2022 was certainly an epic one for Karachi as the city received heavy showers throughout. This captures is the very first one of the season. And this can also add up as an exchange for the recent missing of my Weekend Sky series π
Another school project for Uzair. These were the straw rockets we made at home for October’s Space Week Celebrations at the school. Uzair distributed these among his classmates and they all loved it. These straw rockets are really amazing and you can make it very easily. Click here to know how π
And lastly, here’s a little cooking venture from me. Uzair asked me for a fry egg one day and I decided to make one for him, while reminding myself that I hadn’t fried an egg in ages. It went all went until the flipping part, which I had yet to master. But Uzair enjoyed it and I received full marks π
A lovely peak into your life, Hammad! Love how much you refer to your son and what you are working together!

Letting me know about his daily activities in the school is something Uzair loves to do. And helping him in his class assignments relaxes me in an amazing way. Thank you very much for liking this, Ann-Christine π

I thought about sharing some more cooking-ventures for this prompt but because of loaded office work, I didn’t got the chance. May be next time π
