Embrace the goodness!
Despite all the negativities currently engulfing our world, keeping the hopes alive in our hearts can take us through.
Hope is powerful, despite the fragile nature.
Just put aside all that you have gone through in recent days and look at this wonderful sunrise for a few moments.
The rising sun, the palm leaves, the patches of clouds.
Aren’t these the rightful ingredients to provide you with some sort of mindfulness?
Works for me like a charm!
And beside getting mindfulness from this morning view, I’m also embracing the warmth from it because of the cold wave.
The city of Karachi is experiencing the first cold wave of the winter season these days, with temperature dropping below 9°C.
This may feel like a springtime to many folks around the world but here in Karachi, this is pretty low.
Time for more cups of tea, this means.
Just so perfect for the weekend, when it is time to relax and enjoy some quality time with the loved ones.

I’m glad to see your new weekend sky post, Hammad. Your image of the cold bright sky makes a great picture. That IS a bit cold for you all! Earlier this week we Washingtonians dipped back into the -9 celsius mark for a bit!
Funny, I looked for your new post late yesterday on your blog, but didn’t see it! I just linked it to this Sunday Stills post https://secondwindleisure.com/2023/01/15/sunday-stills-monthly-color-challenge-days-of-gray-and-white/

Hey Terri!
I didn’t posted a new episode last weekend but I will link yours with the new one for this weekend.
-9 Celsius will freeze me in no time. These days, the average is around 8-9 Celsius in my city.
Thank you very much for liking my sky capture 🙂

Many thanks, Hammad 😁 No exciting skies from my part of the world right now….fog, clouds and more snow. Spring is when our skies put on a show. 8c (46f) is on the cold side!

Hi Hammad, I didn’t realise that it got so cold in Karachi.
How are you?

Hey Andrew!
Hope you are doing well.
This year, it is indeed very cold as previous records had been broken. More chills are expected in coming days.
I’m doing fine. Didn’t posted much because I was extremely busy in my cousin’s wedding this week.

Thank you so much, Heather. The temperatures had dropped a little further here, since I posted this Weekend Sky episode. Today’s sky is quite grey, so I will be heading to my archive for some sunshine 🙂

We have been spending time in Florida along the Atlantic Ocean, and I’ve neglected to take some sunrise photos for your theme. Doggone it, I need to get busy. I slept too late this morning to see the sunrise.

No worries, John. You can share any sunrise or sunset from your archive. I was busy as well since mid of January, so just checked your comment 🙂

I am glad it doesn’t get that cold here during the day, just on Winters nights.

As I’m reply to this after 13 days, I would like to inform you that it is more cold in my city now than ever before. Not hitting the freezing point though but cold enough to wear a jacket when going outside.
Thank you so much for liking this capture, Brian 🙂

It is more cold than I ever experienced. Sky is white today and I’m missing the sunshine. Holding on to a cup of tea whenever I can 🙂
