Whatsoever Is Lovely – A Bride’s Table

It was for her only, on her special day!

Last week, I shared a picture from my cousin’s Mehndi ceremony, which took place in January.

So, for this week, I’m also sharing a new picture from another wedding event.

And it only features a table:

Yes, this table was decorated for my cousin’s Maiyun ceremony.

Table’s outer section is covered with decorative paper flowers, followed by a string of marigolds and the leftover section is filled with rose petals.

The upper and lower plates contains traditional desserts. Gulab Jamun and Chum chum in the upper plates while Laddu in the lower one.

The middle plate contains a paste of turmeric, flour and mustard oil, which is normally rub over bride’s face and hands by the her mother, sisters and other close relatives.

And those desserts are for everyone but only a pinch from each 🙂

We decorated this quickly because of time’s shortage on that day. Things go a bit hectic during the weddings 🙂
