Shield’s up!
They are much needed.
To protect us from the harmful things, both known and unknown.
But some shields aren’t heavy or made of indestructible metal.
They are quite fluffy and probably the biggest ones in the world.
Like this:
Beside shielding the sunlight in the most wonderful act of hide and seek, these giant clouds don’t hesitate in letting through some warmth from sun.
Because they also know that we can’t live without it 🙂
Hello there!
Hope you are doing well.
This is the last weekend of March 2023 but for Muslims all over the world, it is first weekend of the holy month of Ramadan.
It is the month in which we re-kindle ourselves more closely to ALLAH and offer our thanks for HIS countless blessings and favors.
Yes, we do Fast throughout this month, from dusk till dawn. But the sole purpose behind this fasting is not just to keep ourselves away from foods or drinks for a specified period of time.
It’s about realizing the fact that our lives aren’t completely governed up by our inner desires or deeds, as many normally consider. Those desires and deeds are only good up to a certain level and in many parts of life, we do face certain situations where we question the significance of their impact on our lives
Performing the cleansing within ourselves is the main theme of Ramadan, as this month demands from us to keep this practice all year long, not just in the holy month.
As weekend is here, so let’s roll out wonderful entries from episode #92, as shared by the fellow bloggers:

Beautiful to see the sun through the clouds Hammad! We saw the northern lights burst through the clouds last week in the Highlands: https://tranature.com/2023/03/29/haiku-moonless-sky/

Thank you for explaining Ramadan. Learning about each other’s beliefs and practices, so we understand one another leads us towards a more peaceful world. Another wonderful sky capture. I just love those big clouds!

You are exactly right. Knowing and understanding the beliefs of each other is the way for prosperity and peace. Both of which are very much needed right now 🙂

Your cloud looks like a man with outstretched arms and legs protecting us from the rays of the sun as he pulls the edges of the storm clouds coming. Sincere hopes of a blessed month.

Beautiful big cloud in your photo! Thank you for explaining the significance of Ramadan. I love learning about other traditions. Teachers around here are educated on the fasting and how it may affect the students behavior at school and to support them.

It is good that teachers are spreading the awareness about Ramadan. This will certainly ensure better understanding about the beliefs of Muslims practicing it. Thank you very much for sharing your thoughts, Sheila
