A great listener, an obedient son, a loving father, a movie buff, a nature lover, a vivid thinker and most importantly, a simple guy.

Mix up all above mentioned qualities and you get Hammad Rais, the man behind this blog.

First of all, thank you for landing here. Your ship must be cruising for a while now, drop your anchor here and feel free to browse through the posts.

The main reason behind starting up this blog was to get a knowhow about content writing and creation but with the passage of time, my blog morphed into something entirely different.

About which, I’m very much proud of!

So, what you will find on my blog?

  • I love to take pictures and participate in different WordPress Photo Challenges.
  • I’ve my own photography challenge Weekend Sky.
  • My thoughts and feelings on random things, through poetry mostly.
  • My son, Uzair, is regularly featured on my blog.
  • I admire flowers very much and love to capture them whenever I can.
  • Posts about both Karachi (my city) and Pakistan (my country) are also featured on my blog.
  • Recently, I started to turn my dream of short film making into reality. You can watch them up by clicking here.

    Hi Hammad,
    I usually read you from the WP reader so it’s been a while since I’ve been to your actual blog … love this layout! What theme are you using?
    And how do you get those fabulous links to your various posts eg wordless, videos, photo challenges … love how this is organised as it’s both pleasing and easy to find things!

      Thank you so much for stopping by here and liking the layout. Theme I’m using currently is Plane.
      And those links on the right hand side of my blog are widgets actually. In your stats section, there’s a link for Customize on the left hand side. Click it and it will show you multiple options about how can you modify your blog’s look, add different widgets/menus and more.

      lol I totally enjoyed viewing your blog Hammad, your layout is so pleasing to the eye … but think you may have more tech skills than me, in that you make and show videos as well … I am starting much later in life but I will try it thanks heaps!

      never Hammad, my great Aunt learnt Italian at 78 yo so she could talk to her neighbours … she lived in Sydney and said we expect them to learn English then I should learn Italian 🙂

    Hi Hammad. I’ve dropped anchor. I am so curious about Pakistan and the Middle East except for “The Kingdom.” I read both “Kingdom” books and have known royalty so I’m not as curious about them. But the other countries…..so interesting. Thanks for noticing my stuff!!!!
