We have some of these at home – we call them “hibiscus” – but in pots in order to be kept inside during the winter months. They would not survive frosts and sometimes the little snow we get. And yes, the flowers live but one day in full glory.
I don’t know name of this flower but I’m sure it is not hibiscus.
No snowfall at all in Karachi during winter. Weather turns dry and cold mostly. Dusty winds blowing up on few days but when they’re not, sun provide much needed warmth. Though mercury had never fall below 10°C as long as I remember.
