FOTD Monday – July 1st

What if I gaze upon

Something beautiful

For long enough

To wipe out all

That I really don’t

Want to reside

In my mind

I can look upon such beauty

For as long as I want to

But what I went through

In days which are past now

Will stay with me forever

As memories of pain

Are inked more deeply

Than handful of joys
