If something breaks up in the end, it may start over as new again.
We all know water is the very source of life on our planet. Not a soul on Earth can live without it. Water nourishes life in so many unexpected ways and I recently found out about one.
What you’re seeing above is a the cracked upper layer of a dry land which soaked heavy amount of rain water. The soaking process lasted for several days after which, land turned into mud. Sun also played a big part and started to dry off that mud.
In the end, that muddied area dried up completely and upper layer started to break up under intense heat from the sun. That was when I captured this snap and it reminds me about one of life’s most important aspect: the end is actually the new beginning.
This is my entry for Frank Jansen’s Tuesday Photo Challenge – Broken

In the case of your photo, it would be Slake to Bake to Cake to Break to Make. 😉
