Years Went By On The Stairs

One step up and time will move forward!

Looking at these stairs in my home reminds me so much about that long gone part of my life, which will sadly never return.

A vital part of my childhood, these stairs are. Climbing up and down over them in a hurry, even with closing my eyes.

Not that little kid I’m anymore!

So, when I look at these stairs now and think about all those moments and memories of years gone by, I wonder over the similarity of these steps and all those years, which will never come back.

One step usually takes less than a second on these stairs but later in life, that one step seems like a lifetime on its own.
